What Exactly is Integrative Manual Therapy?
Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT) is a powerful healing too which treats pain, disease, and dysfunction of all types.
Originally developed by the late Dr. Sharron Weisselfish-Giammatteo, and later joined by her husband, Dr. Thomas Giammatteo, IMT is best described as a continuum: a health care process which works with the bodies’ diverse systems to uncover and address root causes of disability and disease. This holistic, comprehensive approach is gentle and non-invasive yet produces profound, sustainable results – making IMT the obvious choice for today’s complex health issues!
Maura Bommer is Niagara’s only certified IMT therapist, graduated from the Connecticut Institute of Integrative Manual Therapy.
She holds certificates in Cranial-Sacral Release, Muscle Energy, Neuro-Anatomy & Physiology, Advanced Biomechanics, Myofascial Release, Concussion, PTSD & Stroke Therapy and much more! She integrates IMT’s holistic healing with qualifications in health, fitness, nutritional counselling, Pilates rehab training and post-rehab exercise design. Custom Orthotics fitting is also available to improve balance, correct alignment, and relieve pain.
That means one-of-a-kind healing for many grateful clients!
Maura is excited to bring these restorative skills and talent to the residents of the Niagara Region, the GTA and Buffalo areas.
